I have provided counseling services across a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, schools, community-based and in-home programs, and a for-profit small group private practice. Naturally, I was drawn to explore the nonprofit small group private practice model as well.

What I discovered affirmed my decision to commit to this environment full-time and long-term. At Turning Point, the motivation to help others is rooted in compassion—not financial gain. The organization’s sliding scale fee structure ensures that individuals can access quality care regardless of their financial circumstances.

Additionally, I found a collaborative clinical team that is deeply committed not only to supporting clients but also to fostering each other’s growth as providers. The culture here encourages professional excellence while also respecting the importance of work-life balance. This has allowed me to prioritize my own family, which in turn enhances my ability to support the families I serve.

Actually, I chose to return to Turning Point after spending some years in private practice and honestly, it felt like coming home. their unwavering commitment and mission hasn’t shifted over the years-its stayed grounded and intentional-and its says a lot.

I chose Turning Point because of its strong values and genuine commitment to helping others.  The knowledge of the staff and dedication to their clients is what truly stood out to me.  I am excited to learn, grow, and contribute alongside such a passionate team.
